Wednesday, November 6th, we are planning walking tacos for supper, and cookie decoration for the activity. Lots of sugar cookies and frosting will be needed. Need your help. Cookies can be plain or cut into shapes. Join us...this is sure to be a fun night!
Psalm 31:24 “Be strong and confident, all you who wait on the LORD!” (New English) reads ” Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the LORD.” (KJ2000).
The difference between these translations is in the synonyms. To my point this evening is “hope” and “wait” are used interchangeably. When GOD makes a promise we wait on His timing. He is preparing circumstances such that He will make things fall into place. The “hope” we have is that of positive expectation of GOD’S benevolence towards us. If we’re hoping GOD hasn’t forgotten about us, we’re wasting energy. It’s impossible for GOD to forget anything. Our hope (positive expectation) in GOD or in any of His plans is never misplaced or futile. GOD is always right on time and His timing is always perfect. We just have to wait patiently on Him to bring things to pass. GOD Bless each of you, Mike
